It's no secret that Shaun of the Dead was born out of an episode of Spaced. The turn-of-the-century sitcom featured many a pop culture reference, and it was a particular episode that shaped the feature film.

In it, Simon Pegg's Tim is having a massive session on a game that leads to a few daydreams, hallucinations and word-for-word dialogue quotations. Which all comes to a head after eating too many Twiglets and punching an artist in the face.
