17. Solo: A Star Wars Story (May 25)

Though it's impossible to ignore the much-publicised production troubles behind the upcoming Han Solo origin story, and some fans would argue that this is a prequel we just don't need, Solo's still undeniably one of the year's most anticipated and talked-about movies.

Alden Ehrehreich and Donald Glover will play Han and Lando Calrissian respectively, while the cast is rounded out by Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Paul Bettany, Thandie Newton and Pheobe Waller-Bridge.

It'd be a shock if Solo was one of the better recent Star Wars movies, but it'll still be highly intriguing to see how the final product turns out, especially having switched directors so late in production.
