Critics were quick to point out the lack of decent launch titles for the Wii U. Slowly and steadily however in the last twelve months a fair range of decent titles have been released. I've mentioned a few already so I'll list just a few more here:

Super Mario Bros. Wii U Super Mario 3D World Lego City Lego Batman 2 Lego Marvel Super Heroes Arkham City Arkham Origins (I am in the minority in that I love this game) Injustice Sniper Elite 2 Pikmin 3 The Wonderful 101 Tekken Tag Tournament

And many more.

Upcoming titles include:

Donkey Kong Country Super Mario Kart 8 Super Smash Bros. Bayonetta 2 Oddworld James Pond Lego Hobbit

Though there is no official release date there is also a lot of talk from Eiji Aonuma about the next Zelda game that has us eagerly awaiting E3 2014. In the meantime however A Link To The Past has just been released on the Virtual Console, and I personally still have Twilight Princess to play.

If you have the storage space you may turn on your Wii U one day to find you also have copies of Karaoke and Sports Club waiting for you. This article would be criminal if I did not mention the plethora of reasonably priced indie and big name titles available only to download as well. So in terms of software it seems we've gone from a drought to an embarrassment of riches.
