Sony have been striving to hook the punters into a monthly subscription model in order to, well, get more money. PS+ has been using a mixture of (slightly) increased functionality and free-to-members games to drive subscription numbers. If PS+ was able to offer streaming access to a large library of games then suddenly, PS+ looks like a good deal - even if it doubles in price. The more money Sony are guaranteed each month, the happier Kaz Hirai will be as the Japanese companys bottom line has been pretty brutal recently.
