5 Things Onlive Could Mean For PlayStation 3 & Beyond

Full-fat Games On Multi-Screen

It€™s a real modern problem, but often there can be a battle for the TV and, if you can use another screen, then you€™re away. This is where the Vita steps up. Up to this point, these options have been a bit messy (virtual controllers on touchscreens or laptops with usb controllers fangled round a power brick), but the Vita gives you a self-contained unit with two thumbsticks, umpteen buttons and a fantastic screen with a wifi connection. This is sheer bliss for OnLive gamers (I€™d buy a Vita before I€™d buy the dedicated OnLive console) and provides a potentially huge addition to the Vita€™s library of games. OnLive streaming would get the Vita out of the €œhandheld ghetto€ and bring €œproper€ console releases to the system.
