Out of the ashes of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, came a game that actually puts a positive spin on this dark piece of the saga. The plot follows the film's narrative as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Qui-Gon Jinn, Queen Amidala or Captain Panaka battle through the major events of the film. Yes. There are some terrible voice acting moments and it is awash with blocky graphics, but it is a fun romp through the world of Episode 1. And a good place to start the list. 49. And now to what is often considered to be the first Star Wars video game, Atari's Empire Strikes Back. The game allows you to control a snowspeeder as you battle an AT-AT walkers on Hoth. The goal is to hold off the walkers as long as possible before they blow up the power generator at the Rebels' Echo Base. Based in the podrace arena of Tatooine, Star Wars: Pit Droids was released by Lucas Learning in 1999, and on May 4th 2012 it was offered for free on iTunes store after a February 2012 mobile release. Even though it is intended for users age 9 and up, it is a fun little puzzle game.You play as pit droids tasked to solve 300 different puzzles, each randomly selected for eight levels. With each puzzle you complete, you gain points. This will unlock a new level and a bunch of humorous pit droid clips.
