6 Anticipated Video Games That Are Still Missing In Action

5) Prey 2

When Prey debuted on the 360 and PC in 2006 it was met with good if not glowing critical success and it certainly sold a lot, but it€™s questionable how many people would have expected a sequel. When Prey 2 was announced, it was something oh €œwhat, really?€ moment until shown footage surfaced and looked good. Really good. Then a few months ago, Prey 2 reentered the public conscious when it was rumored that it had been cancelled rather unexpectedly due to budget overruns and it generally being a bit rubbish. That was cleared up within a few days when Bethesda released a rather damning statement in which they said €œthe game does not currently meet our quality standards€. Yeesh, burned! Nonetheless they have also established their commitment to the project, claiming €œ unwilling to compromise our quality standards to meet a release schedule€. An admirable concept EA has perhaps not integrated with just yet. What we do know is that Prey 2 looks to be a lot more open-world and dialogue focused than it€™s predecessor, and that we won€™t be playing it in 2012. Boo.
