For me, one of the most entertaining things about Alien is the hilarious banter between the soldiers, specifically Bill Paxton's Pvt. Hudson and Jenette Goldstein's Pvt. Vasquez. The ribbing pre-battle is one thing, but the way the machismo swiftly turns to fear once they realise the gravity of their predicament is another entirely; Hudson is quick to become weak at the knees, famously declaring, "Game over, man, game over!" in total despair, as well as "They're comin' outta the Goddamn walls!". The game should emulate this; the Marines start off cocky and self-assured, before turning into gibbering wrecks in the face of sure death. Paramount is ensuring that talented voice actors have been cast in the roles, as this is still something that video games often struggle with; if the delivery isn't there, the scenes will fall flat, but if some effort is put into the performances, this could slot perfectly into the tone set by Cameron's classically macho dialogue.
