5. Enemy Ships Have Weak Points

Possibly the most overlooked mechanic in the whole game, once you've rammed into a ship or done an opening salvo's worth of damage, a small "weak spot" will appear.

Only discernible through colour differentiation on the enemy's hull AFTER the first attack, targeting this with arrows and more ram attacks will chew through an enemy health bar faster than the standard speed of play.

This weak spot changes position and sometimes colour depending on what you're attacking too, so keep your eyes peeled during the chaos for an opening.
