You wanna fight a shield guy? How about one that does a lot of unblockable attacks so you have to dodge more?

Outside of basic grunts and flying drones, that's all Avengers has right now.

Besides the context-breaking notion of Hulk delivering a thunder clap - only for "Blocked" to pop up over the enemy's chest - being terrible, it immediately sets in that depth are lacking on the enemy side, too.

There are four bosses in the whole game - two you can dodge everything from, another that boils down to targeting highlighted weak points then wailing on their head, and the last one is a quick-time event.

You've fought these enemies before, and none of them play to the strengths of The Avengers as a team. There's no prying a large enemy open as Hulk, only to attack from above as Iron Man; no ranged group flurry from Cap dazing a platoon so you can sweep their collective legs as Kamala.
