4. The UI & Consideration For Player Time Is Terrible

From monetisation to scattering reward chests far and wide across open expanses of nothingness, Avengers' consideration for your time is next to nothing. Menus feature the infuriating "fake mouse cursor" that Destiny popularised, with ease of access and clarity of character upgrades being supremely cumbersome.

The overall design philosophy mimics Marvel's mobile games or various grind-heavy freemium titles that clutter every last space with another number, assumedly to convince someone there's more under the hood than they think.

I'll get to bugs and glitches very soon, but the act of interacting with Avengers is a chore. It feels like analysing and balancing spreadsheets in a lowly corporate intern position.

Basic quality of life features like comparing gear between vendors and hub inventories are forgotten, and you're forever reminded that if this wasn't Avengers-themed, you'd simply give up.
