Batman: Arkham Legacy - 10 Fatal Mistakes It Must Avoid
2. The Batmobile
It seems like ever since the Batman Begins movie referred to the Batmobile as a 'tank', the designs for this iconic vehicle have started to reflect that more and more until, in Arkham Knight, it actually was one.
Fans were understandably less than thrilled with Arkham Knight's heavy emphasis on tank combat. What should have been one of the coolest parts of the game quickly became something players dreaded to see. Batmobile missions were as repetitive as they were numerous. However, rather than remove it from the series, Arkham Legacy needs to completely revamp the Batmobile's gameplay.
Take away the tank combat entirely and focus on what the Batmobile is: Batman's main method of transportation. Not that gliding through the skies of Gotham City isn't great, but Arkham Legacy has a chance to make the Batmobile an amazing part of the game.
By changing the map layout or mission objectives, the Batmobile could become an integral part of gameplay by providing the speed and on the ground perspective of navigating the city that gliding does not allow. Batman's signature ride is easily one of the most iconic in comic book culture and it deserves its time in the spotlight.
