Call Of Duty WWII: 10 Huge Leaked Details You Need To Know
10. War Mode Maps And Objectives
One of the biggest new features in COD: WW2 is the War mode. Moving away from the limited-player bouts of other multiplayer games, this new mode is instead offering players a more expansive, multi-tiered experience that isn't just about getting the best kill-death ratio.
Unfortunately, now we know that there are only going to be four maps that support this new mode - Operations Breakout, Neptune, Griffin and Aachen - but thankfully the multiple interconnected objectives found in each one will mean they're much larger than your regular COD level.
Operation Breakout for instance tasks one team with taking out Axis flak cannons targeting Allied bombers, before storming an observation point to disrupt communications, constructing a river crossing for incoming tanks, placing explosives on the enemy ammo depot and finally pushing forward to allow the armour through to destroy the last line of defence.
So while there's only a handful of maps, there's going to be plenty to accomplish in each one, and hopefully they'll make War a standout mode when the game ships in November.
