E3 2018: 10 Things That Must Happen At Microsoft's Conference

2. Gears Of War 5 Reveal

As almost everything else on the Walmart leak has been proven to be correct, there's a big chance that Gears of War 5 really is coming soon. If that is the case, Microsoft might finally be trying to fix their problem of not having any major exclusives.

As one of Microsoft's biggest game franchises, expect to see Gears of War 5 debuting on stage with a new trailer. We don't know how far along development is, but only expect a trailer rather than a full gameplay demo.

Gears 4 was a great return to form for the series after the disappointing Gears of War: Judgement, but it still feels like a lot more can be done with a fifth entry. Although the games are plenty fun on their own, they haven't really evolved much since the first game, and with heavy hitting single-player games like God of War, they really need to.

Still, if Microsoft can manage to reveal more than one big exclusive at this year's E3, they might have a chance of catching up to Sony.
