E3 2018: 10 Things That Must Happen At Microsoft's Conference
7. Mortal Kombat 11 Reveal
Microsoft's conference always has the most third-party games revealed at it, which means that a reveal of Mortal Kombat 11 is most likely to happen there.
It's been a year since the launch of Injustice 2, which is usually when NetherRealm likes to announce which project they're working on next. Unless they do what they did with the original Injustice and reveal something completely out of left field, it's almost definitely going to be the next Mortal Kombat game they announce.
What better place to do it than at E3? Mortal Kombat is one of the biggest franchises in gaming, and NetherRealm's games are only getting better with each iteration, which makes them perfect for the big stage.
Ed Boon has been doing his usual teasing of the next game on Twitter, and it seems pretty likely that it will be Mortal Kombat 11. It would be a big surprise if the game wasn't announced at E3, especially when it's pretty obviously in development.
