E3 2018: 10 Things That Must Happen At Microsoft's Conference

5. Ori And The Will Of The Wisps Release Date

Ori and the Will of the Wisps was one of the better surprises to be announced at last year's conference, and we haven't seen anything of it since.

Giving a release date for Ori is pretty much a necessary move for Microsoft after the delay of Crackdown 3. With nothing else from them coming this year and all of their big titles presumably coming later down the line, they need something like Ori that can win over the crowd.

Will of the Wisps has also been pretty silent since being announced last year, with the only real news coming out it being the addition of a new level designer late last year. This seems to imply that the game was pretty early in development, but hopefully they've been using all of the time to make the game as great as possible.

If Ori and the Will of the Wisps doesn't get a release date during the conference, it should still be shown off a lot during the show, as it's easily one of most unique games that Microsoft has.
