4. Remedy's New Game Looks Like Quantum Break 2.0
Max Payne and Alan Wake developers Remedy Entertainment finally revealed their much buzzed-about new game, a supernatural shooter called Control.
Though the visuals look undeniably gorgeous, it's hard to ignore the fact that the game seems incredibly similar to their previous effort, Quantum Break, what with its protagonist's environment-manipulating powers and the near-identical aesthetic.
As such, the game seems a little on the lazy side, as though it's been quickly cobbled together with pre-existing assets in order to cut corners financially following Quantum Break's failure to become an A-list smash hit.
Perhaps Control can improve upon their previous game's messiness, but this trailer was ultimately pretty underwhelming given the hype surrounding Remedy's mystery project.
