On the surface, this title looks like the same old; some waif in a faraway land with an elaborate art-style and a thoughtfully morose tone. We've seen this plenty since the cult hit of Ico, with 2017's Rime getting a fairly harsh beating for its similarities.

Vane is guilty of this, yet at least it has the pedigree of a studio actually having worked directly with Team Ico on The Last Guardian. Also, it sports a unique mechanic of taking on a hawk and hitting the skies, with the potential to push the puzzling to a unique place.

As is, it is drop-dead gorgeous and intriguing; we’ll have to see if it's hopefully more then just Ico-lite.
