Fallout 4: 5 Things That Will Happen (And 5 That Should)

1. Player Character Details

At this stage we must cede that a great amount of what we believe we know about Fallout 4 is based on the leaked casting documents and ideally it would be best to attain some other sources to corroborate the conclusions we€™ve come to. Here is something else we believe we know thanks to those invaluable documents. It is suggested that the playable character in the next Fallout game €“ much like Philip J. Fry €“ has awakened from a cryogenic sleep chamber. Unlike Fry however, the hero will not wake up in the fairly pleasant New New York of the year 3000 but instead emerges from a centuries-long sleep to find himself in a Boston savaged by nuclear war. The character€™s opening monologue viewable in the casting documents makes it clear that he/she is totally oblivious of everything that has happened during their cryo-sleep. In using this trope Bethesda have cleverly ensured that their NPCs have the freedom to explain even the most obvious things to the character without it sounding implausible.
