FIFA 15: 15 Ludicrous Ratings EA Sports Need To Fix

By Joseph Dempsey /

10. Xherdan Shaqiri - 80

Xherdan Shaqiri spent most of last season on the fringes with Bayern Munich, which may owe to the fact he was handed a relatively-disappointing rating of just 80 in FIFA 14. However, the winger shone at the World Cup finals in Brazil this summer by netting a hat-trick during Switzerland€™s 3-0 thrashing of Honduras in the group stages.

Shaqiri became the first Swiss player to score a brace at the World Cup since Adrian Knup netted twice against Romania in 1994 and the first to score a hat-trick at the World Cup in Switzerland€™s history. It is for this reason why the midfielder deserves an increase in rating in FIFA 15.

The playmaker was barely used by Bayern last season and made a paltry 17 Bundesliga appearances for the German giants. His disappointing run-out at domestic level will undoubtedly leave him hovering around the low eighties in €™15 rather than soaring among the mid-eighties his recent performances deserve, though we can at least hope EA see fit to give him a marginal increase to around 82 at least.
