Marouane Fellaini was initially deemed a huge flop at Manchester United, especially for the £27.5million they paid to sign him under David Moyes. With the poor performances, his rating slumped down to 79, but Fellaini is now proving his critics wrong.

Van Gaal has started to get the best out of him, with dominant performances in midfield proving the catalyst for many United victories. With an average of 4.3 aerial duels won, and a pass percentage of 84.5%, Fellaini is starting to dictate matches, and although he's a threat up front, he's also a brick wall in the United midfield. 

Fellaini has easily been one of the best midfielders this season, and also one of the most consistent, so his improved rating would be well earned.
