That's what every FIFA-lover will be if Twitter talk about FIFA 21 being a dreaded 'Legacy Edition' on PS4 and Xbox One is true. Surely it's not. Surely EA wouldn't be daft enough to think they could get away with a "roster update", some new kits and a few other minor tweaks?
Nintendo Switch users would be chuckling into their Joy-Cons if such a nightmare occurred. They've had to put up with a rubbish version of FIFA for years now, and they'd get a kick out of seeing gaming's more elitist consoles be treated with the same apathy by EA.
Worries about this one are based on the ongoing pandemic; that might've prevented EA from working on a proper update, the doomsayers cry. Or, maybe they're only focused on the next-gen entries and want to make a quick buck on minimal effort.
