Football Manager 2016: 10 Things It Needs To Get Right With Newcastle

9. Ayoze Perez Needs To Maintain His Value

Ayoze Perez was a very fine footballer on FM15 but he often developed away from St James' Park, signing for a bigger club after Newcastle struggled to stay in the Premier League. Despite his £9 million value he was normally sold for around half of that figure, leaving you feeling distraught as he banged 20 goals in for Tottenham and steered the North London side into the Champions League. Rightfully Football Manager 2015 picked up on Perez's potential but he should be the central focus (perhaps just behind Moussa Sissoko) on this year's release and should be valued around £14-20 million.
