Kevin Mbabu and Jamaal Lascelles should be strong enough to compete for a place in Newcastle's first team. With the Magpies' defensive options looking pretty thin both players are no longer just 'for the future' and it will become frustrating if you're forced to buy players if the pair aren't suitably rated to compete in the Premier League. It will be interesting to see how FM16 will rate Adam Armstrong on the new release and whether he will be able to develop after returning from his loan spell at Coventry in January 2016.
