23. Oscar Diaz

Like many, Oscar was a former COG who fought in the Locust War, but unlike others, he decided to break away for the Coalition Order Governments and formed the Outsiders - which were a combination of ex COG soldiers and Stranded.

The Outsiders being a group of people that were sick of living under the rule of the COG and the constant war that brought along with it.

He did so along with his brother Gabe who eventually went on to marry Reyna.

Unlike most uncles, Oscar would teach Kait Diaz how to use a gun and fight. They became separated throughout most of Gears 4, but when met back up in 5, he would fall victim to the family cures.
