GTA V: 11 More Things You Didn't Know

3. First-Person Combat Is Extra Brutal

Indeed, it is. Armed conflict isn't just what San Andreans do before and after breakfast. It's also one of the most invigorating ways to experience the new perspective. At head height, the scale of everything is what it should be, and that includes violence. Gunshots and explosions will certainly envelop more of your vision, but more intimate methods of fighting are all the more gruesome. Picking a fight eye to eye is a different experience and fist-to-face contact feels much meatier at this close a range. Bladed weapons slish quite disgustingly and can even get stuck in people -- pull-out animation included. Don't worry Mr. ESRB... we're too busy riding bicycles and kissing rainbows to know anything about such nonsense...
