GTA VI: 10 Biggest Innovations It Must Have

2. Player Protagonist Customisation

Rockstar have experimented with RPG elements before. They were basic, yes, but it was still pretty cool to mess around with Carl Johnson's appearance in GTA: San Andreas, making him a gelatinous blob partial to fast food or a muscled-up monster who looked like he would take over the world. Unfortunately, those elements didn't really make much difference, CJ could still sprint like Usain Bolt when at his biggest, for example. There's been subtle little hints dropped that Rockstar may be willing to let players themselves decide how main characters look, expanding on the limited options available in GTA V in regards to clothing and what kind of hair each protagonist had. If GTA VI enabled gamers to completely design the main character(s) from top to bottom, it'd be a pretty big leap forward for the series. In truth, the company may be unwilling to completely go down this road, because it could mean they find it difficult to weave a tight, more focused narrative, or give sufficient background to the main protagonists, but if they could find a way around that, this would be one innovation that would feel pretty darn fresh to the GTA franchise.
