2. The Atrociously Bad Cut-Scenes

If you were hoping for more of the stylish cut-scenes which made the previous Hitman feel so cinematic, prepare to be disappointed.

Hitman 2's cut-scenes actually amount to nothing more than narrated slideshows, with animatic-style still images cut together with rudimentary voice acting.

It's been speculated that this is probably a result of IO Interactive being cut loose by Square Enix last year, but whatever the reason, it's absolutely absurd that a AAA blockbuster franchise like Hitman ends up looking this tacky and cheap.

It obviously doesn't help that the story itself is completely un-engaging, but maybe if the narrative was presented with the slick style fans were expecting, it would've at least had a little more pep to it.

Whatever happened with the game's cinematics, it absolutely cannot be repeated for the inevitable sequel.
