Thus far there have been 20 LEGO games (including the LEGO Rock Band and The LEGO Movie releases), and this definitely feels like the culmination of everything that has come before.

Goring revealed that LEGO actually has two development studios allowing for more releases (the last he worked on was LEGO Jurassic World) and the healthy rivalry that has built on the back of that has very much helped the product.

The result is a highly glossed, wonderfully addictive gameplay experience that is hilarious, imaginative and utterly charming. And even with the likes of Marvel's Avengers and the LEGO Harry Potter games making a good claim, this already feels like the best one yet.
