Are the Carolina Panthers really a top 10 team? Are they really a better proposition than the Ravens, Colts and Cowboys? Certainly not. The Panthers will slide, and while they're the brightest spark in the NFC South at the moment, they won't hold their decent position in the Madden rankings. If they were flung into a tough division, they'd struggle more than they did against three poor sides last season, and while Cam Newton will be fun to play with as usual, the Panthers haven't improved enough during the off-season to prevent a slide closer to the 80 mark.
