If your Commander Shepard has expressed no interest whatsoever in pursuing a romantic relationship with either Tali or Garrus throughout any of the games, there comes the chance to witness quite a tender moment during Mass Effect 3. There's several scenes of dialogue throughout the game possible where the two characters seem to be flirting with each other, but it all comes to a head after the assault on the Illusive Man's base, where Shepard can stumble across the two holding each other, clearly romantically involved. Thus begins some awkward banter and the two admit to Shepard that something is, in fact, going on between them. Bioware also repeated this trait of characters getting together recently in Dragon Age: Inquisition, where Dorian and Iron Bull can become a couple in a similar way.
