Mortal Kombat 11: Ranking EVERY Fatality So Far

8. Raiden

Raiden has come a long way since his head popping antics in the original Mortal Kombat. The pinnacle of which was his eye exploding oh-boy-that-has-got-to-hurt finisher in the 2015 version of the game. So how does this one match up?

Well in all honesty it's not as good. It may be more impressive but it seems to lack the "HOT DAMN!!" factor of it's predecessor.

Starting out by electrocuting his foe and the pulling them limb from limb he quickly squishes them into a tiny ball before blowing the remains apart. It looks good and would obviously hurt like hell but it lacks something.

Maybe it is the fact that by now and being eleven games into the franchise you'd hope a lot more thought would be put into The Thunder God's fatality but it is not to be and as Raiden is one of the stalwarts of the MK Universe you can't help but feel a little disappointed that he always seems to get treated as an after thought when it comes to ingenious ways to kill your opponent.

Perhaps they'll finally get it right in MK 12.
