The Houston Rockets had a quietly effective season given the difficulty of both their division and conference. Though James Harden and Dwight Howard grabbed most of the headlines, Chandler Parson's play at small forward was a major reason behind a return to the NBA Playoffs. Parson's started 74 games for Houston, averaging 16.4 PPG, rising to 19.3 come playoff time. His rating of 76 is not especially poor but it doesn't fairly reflect his contribution on either side of the ball. A number closer to 85 wouldn't be a surprise in next year's instalment.
