With so many unknowns surrounding the Nintendo NX, it seems unthinkable that we could have this console in our living rooms by this time next year. According to tech news site Digitimes, Nintendo is already visiting its supply chain partners, and is aiming to start mass production of the mystery console by May or June 2016. This would set the Nintendo NX up for a July 2015 release date. While that's very exciting and everything, we should treat that news with caution. Nintendo has already said that it won't reveal any more information about the Nintendo NX until 2016, which would leave it just a few short months before launch. This seems like too tight a timeframe, and with games consoles usually getting released in the Fall, it's more likely that the NX will be out in time for next Christmas.
