No PS4 To Be Shown At E3

Biggest video game analyst says "there's zero chance of a tease from Sony for PlayStation 4" at E3.

Ever since a story in MCV was released about both the new Xbox and Ps4 being at E3 this year, news to the contrary has been popping up. The biggest video game analysist Michael Pachter stated about the chances of PS4 at E3: "there's zero chance of a tease from Sony for PlayStation 4" . And then last night a Sony executive at CES (Consumer Electronic Show) confirmed that the PS4 would not be making an appearance at this years E3. Sony's Kaz Hirai:
"Andy (House) is absolutely right in that we are not making any announcements at E3. I've always said a 10-year life cycle for PS3, and there is no reason to go away from that."
On the flip side we have yet to hear any denials from Microsoft about the new Xbox showing up at E3 this year; so we may still have at least two new consoles showing up at E3. In addition, since Sony is a Japanese company they might be more inclined to show off the PS4 at this year's Tokyo Game Show instead of E3. To me it is hard to envision both Nintendo and Microsoft showing off new consoles this year and Sony not showing anything. What do you think, will Microsoft and Nintendo be the only ones showing off new consoles this year or will Sony have to show off the PS4?
