Last August I was one of several journalists who travelled to Berlin to watch Sony Entertainment unveil their latest piece of technology - the fervently anticipated 84-inch Bravia 4k LCD television. Sony President Kazuo Hirai unveiled it then, lifting a red velvet curtain aloft to expose the behemoth that was the latest jewel in Sony's crown - the biggest television on the market today. The gasps of awe and excitement that echoed throughout the conference room were nothing compared to what we will be hearing on Wednesday as the company are expected to unveil yet another game changing piece of technology - the PlayStation 4. At a New York press conference midweek, fans will get a first glimpse at the successor to the PlayStation 3 and will be provided with a raft of new information regarding the latest Sony product that just about everyone and his grandma longs to have adorning their TV stand in their living room. Very little is known about the PS4 at present - we have seen supposedly leaked photographs of the new controller, but nobody yet knows if they're the real deal. We have also heard a wide array of rumours pertaining to the upcoming console from fan forums and the media, but until Wednesday's long-awaited reveal, we are left to deal with pure conjecture. Here, we take a look ahead to Wednesday's unveiling and list 5 Announcements We'd Love Sony to Make (And 4 That Would Be Terrible). Click "Next" to get started.
