Playstation Now: 15 Titles We're Instantly Going To Revisit

6. Tomb Raider (PSOne)

One of the staple titles of the original Playstation era, Tomb Raider took gaming to a whole new audience. It didn't just target the stereotypical gaming man - it was made to appeal to a mass audience and did so very well. Instead of having the usual male protagonist, we follow the archaeologist Lara Croft in her endeavour to find all the pieces to a talisman called the Scion. Tomb Raider is wonderfully designed and is still - to this day - one of the best examples of an action adventure game. The ace combination of it being both brilliantly thought-out and created in such a way as to appeal to all kinds of gamers, allowed Tomb Raider to become one of the most successful games ever released on the PSOne. It became a beacon to the console, with nine sequels to the series and was so popular that Hollywood made two movies with Angelina Jolie (though they weren't quite as popular).
