10. Darksun Gwyndolin

Gwyndolin does everything well, but doesn't reach high enough to be excellent. The lore behind him is interesting and only serves to emphasises the boss fight itself.

The unique aspect of the never ending hallway -that does actually end - in which you fight him makes the fight both interesting and challenging. And that's before mentioning the way he can affect the game world and turn Anor Londo dark.

He's interesting as a character and the fight offers ups a successfully unique premise that provides a refreshing change of pace.
