One the best early game bosses, Quelaag has a lot going for. She can spray lava across the arena and restrict the area in which you can fight her.

The fight itself is challenging even for players who have played dozens of times. The lore behind the fight and her connection to her sister is some of the most heartbreaking in the game. And she looks unbelievably disgusting.

A half human/half spider hybrid is an image that will stick in the mind for years. As if she's the little mermaid's deranged cousin.
