So, was Brad an outlier, or is he an example of what's to come for Resident Evil as Capcom remake their games and tweak the existing canon?

For those answers, we will have to wait for the inevitable Resident Evil 4 Remake, but hopefully, Code Veronica isn’t far behind. The answers to all this could very well be locked away with Alexia Ashford, or even Albert Wesker, later down the line.

Of course, all of this could become a dead end, as the hosts turn from mindless killing machines to controlled individuals, infected with parasites.

For now, we have to look back at that one moment, when a member of S.T.A.R.S with his final shreds of humanity, apologised before the T-Virus took over.
