10. Morrigan Aensland

The first non-Street Fighter character on this list (but by no means the last), Morrigan would be a fun, flashy addition to Street Fighter 6's colourful cast, and would carry on Morrigan's post-Darkstalkers career as the Crossover Queen.

Darkstalkers - the series in which Morrigan debuted - may have ended back in 1997, but the series has lived on in the hearts of fighting fans due to Morrigan's numerous appearances in other Capcom projects. Capcom vs SNK, Namco x Capcom, Tatsunoko vs Capcom - any time Capcom needs a brand representative, they always come back to everyone's favourite succubus.

As her resume shows, Morrigan is a proven fit for any type of 2D fighter, and the glamorous queen of the night would gel well with Street Fighter 6's gloriously OTT sense of style.

Also, the last time Morrigan graced our screens was in the utterly execrable Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite, and that ?????? be the last word on one of fighting games' most iconic characters.
