Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: Every Confirmed Character (And How They've Changed)

By Benjamin Richardson /

29. Zero Suit Samus

Nintendo

Zero Suit Samus is pretty much Samus in her nightwear. Her Final Smash has been replaced with an aim-able laser fired from her gunner ship (which for some reason doesn't have a name).

30. Wario

Nintendo

Mario's avaricious double remains as uncouth as ever, with both his Wario Land and Wario Ware outfits an option. Warioman - his Final Smash - is now a one-and-done move.

31. Snake

Nintendo

Snake makes a surprise comeback, as does the Metal Gear Solid man's original voice-actor David Hayter, who is reprising the role he lost to Keifer Sutherland in Nintendo's brawler.

32. Ike

Nintendo

Ike ensures all the Fire Emblem characters come together as he steps back into action. Besides having an 'Old' costume, Ike's mostly like for like.

33-35. Pokémon Trainer

Nintendo

After skipping Smash 4, Red's back, but he's still three Pokéballs short of a full belt. The fatigue system has been retired, meaning the three 'mon can be switched in and out at liberty. Further good news is that a female Pokémon trainer, based on the design from FireRed/LeafGreen, is now an option.
