8 Epic Video Game Moments That Were TOO EASY

7. The Warthog Run - Halo 3

It's no secret at all that Halo 3 is the easiest mainline entry into the franchise - largely believed to be a result of Bungie responding to vocal complaints that Halo 2 was too hard, especially on Legendary difficulty.

And this extends to the game's iconic final warthog run, where players must drive their way across the collapsing Halo ring and reach the safety of the UNSC Forward Unto Dawn.

While this is inherently awesome on account of the incredible music and sheer cinematic chaos of it all, it's also clear that Bungie massively softened this warthog run's difficulty compared to the one in the original Halo.

The developer was presumably keener for all players to get a seamless, uninterrupted escape sequence rather than stifle the momentum with, y'know, a palpable threat of death.

And so as neat as this sequence is, its impact is somewhat undercut by the lack of pulse-pounding danger - the vehicular handling is better and plentiful checkpoints just make it feel a bit too easy.
