6. "Enjoy My Wine, It's Expensive" - Batman: The Telltale Series

The first episode of Batman: The Telltale Series offers up an absolute doozy of a dialogue choice when Bruce Wayne rocks up at Harvey Dent's latest fundraiser, and Dent encourages Bruce to say hello to the assembled party guests.

At this point you're able to answer earnestly, sarcastically, or say "Enjoy my wine - it's expensive," which sounds like the sort of perfectly dry, tongue-in-cheek remark anyone would expect from the well-minted Bruce Wayne.

But if you pick this option, Bruce actually says, "Enjoy drinking my wine, it's worth more than most of you."

While the original option as written is decidedly more cute and playful, Bruce's actual comment is so, so much meaner and leaves the entire party staring at him in stunned silence.

Considering how the written option totally misses the tone and intent of the actual line reading itself, it's a perfect demonstration of how important it is to get these things right. 

That it wasn't flagged by anyone during the QA process is baffling, frankly.
