8 Mods Better Than The Actual Game
2. Fallout: London
Fallout 4 is one of the most beloved action-RPGs of the last 15 years, but the Fallout: London total conversion mod somehow takes what Bethesda built and runs away with it.
As the title suggests, Fallout: London shifts the post-apocalyptic setting to ol' Blighty, incorporating not only a gorgeous recreation of London but a generally charming engagement with British culture.
Your canine companion, for example, is a British Bulldog named Churchill, and a whole ton of effort has been put into creating a world that basically feels as rich and alive as any official Fallout game.
The quests are better than in Fallout 4, the NPCs are written with a richer attention-to-detail, and they're even fully voice-acted - a rare achievement for a mod of this size.
While some felt that Fallout 4's combat quickly became repetitive and overly easy, Fallout: London is a more challenging and dynamic affair that'll make short work of complacent players.
Above all else Fallout: London is just plain more fun than the base game, offering up a diversion that makes Fallout 4 seem a little samey by comparison.
