Uncharted 4: 20 Amazing Moments

20. Prison Break... Twice

Uncharted 4 has not one but two electric prison break sequences early on. The first occurs in Chapter 2 (Infernal Place), a flashback to before the first game, where Nate and Sam team up with treasure hunter Rafe Adler to sneak into a Panama jail in pursuit of a grand treasure. However, it all goes belly-up once their man on the inside, Vargas, is killed by Rafe, and the trio must escape the prison.

Cue a jaw-dropping set-piece where you're constantly on the run from bullets, hurtling through narrow alleys, diving all over the place, and getting into fist-fights with guards. The sequence ends with Nate and Rafe escaping, but Sam being shot and falling to his apparent death.

The second sequence is in Chapter 5 (Hector Alcazar), as Sam returns in the present day and informs Nate that he not only survived, but was broken out of jail by drug lord Hector Alcazar. Cue another escape scene flashback, where Sam, Alcazar and several of his armed men shoot their way through the prison while a riot ensues, killing dozens if not hundreds of inmates and guards (many of whose bodies are littered around the place already), before fleeing into a waiting van.

These are the big marquee set-pieces of the game's first two hours, and they sure don't disappoint.
