This is going to hurt. So, at the end of episode four, a recently-bitten Lee provides a pretty devastating cliffhanger for the player, offering them a choice in this season finale: Do they want to attempt to chop off the arm and see if that will save Lees life, or leave the wound and use Lee's remaining energy to attempt a rescue from Clementine's kidnapper? Due to all of the players choices coming together in this final episode, there are many ways in which this scene can play out. Lee can be surrounded by a variety of different people depending on who survived earlier scenes and they can be there to provide support, advice or even do the act themselves and remove Lees arm instead. The most brutal way to carry out this scene is to ultimately cut off Lees arm by yourself, which is simply horrific. Not only is the experience of amputating the arm a harrowing and shocking moment, but in the end it is all for naught anyway, as either way Lee tragically does not survive the finale. At this point were just going to resort to shaking our fists at the sky whilst shouting TELLTAAALE.
