WWE 2K18: 10 Most Wanted New Features

10. A Complete Game Engine Overhaul

There's just no excuse for poor graphics in 2017, let alone any satisfactory justification for why WWE video games still feature the worst hair and facial animations in modern gaming. Seriously, just look at some of the character models in 2K17 and try to defend those floaty strands or ghost-like expressions.

It's not only the graphics that 2K need to worry about either, the entire game engine could do with an overhaul in 2K18. WWE video games have been coasting over the past decade, and the fact they still use an engine which has roots in the year 2000 (the first SmackDown title) is pretty shocking.

The annual update feel to WWE games makes a complete overhaul difficult for sure, but it's something 2K really should be thinking about.

At the very least, let's sort out that hair and the fact wrestlers glide across the ring instead of walking like actual human beings; titles like The Witcher 3 (a game released in 2015) still make WWE games look like a HD remaster of a PS2 classic rather than a big-budget release.
