WWE 2K18: Predicting All 130 Superstars Who Will Be Included

By Ross Tweddell /

In last years game there were 58 Legends to choose from. Yes 58, although that included two versions of Mick Foley, Scott Hall, Steve Austin, Triple H, The Rock and The Undertaker.

Of course there are going to be similar numbers in this year's game which makes a mockery of my roster prediction, and then some. In my mind however, with the brand exclusive rosters meaning more key players that simply can't be left out of the game than ever before that this year's basic roster is going to be the biggest we've ever seen by some distance. I'd expect somewhere closer to 160 characters to be on the disc you receive after purchasing the game. WOW!

Based on the legends that were in last year's title, let's deal with the top 30 (excluding multiple versions of the same Superstar) even though we all know there's going to be a hell of a lot more and that's before the Hall Of Fame DLC comes into play... just how are the boffins at 2K going to squeeze all of this content onto one disk?

30. Alundra Blayze

WWE/2K

One of the greatest Superstars of the 90s, current Performance Center trainer, Hall Of Famer; a certainty to be in WWE 2K18 surely?

29. Andre The Giant

WWE/2K

What needs to be said here? Closing in on 30 years after his death and still as legendary as always. One of the true greats of the industry.

28. Trish Stratus

WWE/2K

How can WWE claim to have any modicum of a women's revolution without continuously paying homage to those who paved the way so the Superstars of today have the opportunity to break new grounds?

27. Bam Bam Bigelow

WWE/2K

Bam Bam is a bit of a stalwart when it comes to WWE/2K games having appeared in each title from 2K15 onwards. I'd expect him to be in there once again when 2K18 is released.

26. Big Boss Man

WWE/2K

Just like Bam Bam, Big Boss Man seems to be one of those names that will be in a WWE/2K video game come hell or high water having appeared in 2K16 and 2K17.

25. Booker T

WWE/2K

Current RAW commentator and WWE Hall Of Famer that will undoubtedly have a lot of the younger generation each week questioning who exactly he is each Monday. WWE video games should be treated as a primary tool to introduce the greats of yesteryear to the kids of today.

24. Bret Hart

WWE/2K

For the want of being anything but cliche, the best there was, the best there is and the best there ever will be... I guess I failed there then.

23. Brian Pillman

WWE/2K

In terms of the true legends of pro wrestling Brian Pillman is severely underrated, you know.

22. British Bulldog

WWE/2K

It's getting pretty hard to not simply write the same thing for each of these legendary names. They're all legends, and deserve to have their legacies preserved somewhat.

21. Mick Foley

WWE/2K

Yes, all three faces of Foley, and maybe even a fourth as GM of RAW, will be in 2K18. But for the purposes of this roster countdown because spaces are so limited Mick's being squeezed into one!
