WWE 2K19: 17 Wrestlers Making Their Series Debut
New Generation, baby!
John Cena, cover man AJ Styles, Ric Flair, Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns, Charlotte Flair, pre-order special Rey Mysterio and beyond. WWE 2K19's roster is positively bursting at the seams this year with tasty characters, and 2K have really outdone themselves with the first part of their mega roster reveal; that opening salvo features no less than 75 names.
There's more coming too, but this article is better concerned with the brand spanking new faces that will be splashed across the character select screen. Exactly none of the ones under the spotlight here have ever (officially) been in a WWE video game before, so this all rather exciting.
Community Creations, though sometimes bloody excellent, don't count. This is breaking new ground for these stars, and it'll be a personal buzz for them once they see themselves in-game.
There are 17 names to get through. Some are tag-teams, others are main roster, and the vast majority comes from the ever-trusty house of NXT. We hope you like what's happening in WWE development, because 2K have been very generous towards Triple H's pet project in 2K19...
17. Liv Morgan
First up is Riott Squad member Liv Morgan.
Liv's leader, Ruby Riott, made her series bow as part of the NXT Generation DLC Pack in 2K18. Now, she has some backup in the form of Raw's little blonde troublemaker. Best of all, Morgan doesn't have to suffer the same DLC fate as Ruby. She's in the game from the off as part of the on-disc roster.
This caps off a memorable journey from NXT to the main roster for Liv. As a lifelong fan who once dabbled in a bit of backyard wrestling to satisfy her love of the biz, she must be thrilled to be part of one of the games. Also, Liv isn't coming alone...
